Graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures, she has a postgraduate degree in Information Sciences and a master’s degree in Education and Libraries, whose master’s dissertation won the 2nd place of the Raúl Proença Award, which aims to distinguish research works in the area of information sciences.

Librarian at the Municipality of Baião, she is coordinator of the Baião Library Network, also working as a freelancer doing proofreading work for publishers and city councils. She is the founder and editorial coordinator of Storyteller Editora. So far, she has written and published five children’s books, addressing different themes such as the protection of animals and nature and racism.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Documentation Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with her research area being bibliotherapy in Portugal.
Her research interests involve the history of the book, bibliotherapy and the role of libraries in the formation of active and informed citizens.
