PhD in Computer Science, Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain where he holds a permanent position of Professor Titular (Hab. Full Professor). He was a Visiting Professor at Birkbeck College, University of London (UK) 2009-2010 and Research Associate at Drexel University, Philadelphia (USA) 2004/2005. Prof. Xhafa has widely published in international journals, conferences/workshops, book chapters, edited books and proceedings. He has an extensive editorial service as Editor in Chief of three international journals and of two international book series. His research interests and expertise include massive data processing and analytics, collective intelligence, optimization, P2P, Grid and Cloud computing and machine learning, among others.
Manuela Tvaronavičienė

PhD in Economics is professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania. Currently she is national head of on-going Horizon 2020 project H2020-MSCA-RISE-2014 CLUSDEVMED (2015-2019) Grant Agreement Number 645730. She is Expert of European Commission (for Horizon Global 2016-2018), Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Security and Sustainability Issues (SCOPUS), and publisher of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Issues (Web of Sciences Emerging Sources Citation Index, SCOPUS). She is author of over 80 paper published in international journals; her research interests are: sustainable development, economic growth, energy security, innovations, entrepreneurship.
Susanne Tietze

PhD, MBA, MA, Teaching Dipl., is Research Professor of Multilingual Management at Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She has got particular expertise in senior research leadership at Director of Research; internal capacity building strategies for early career researchers; attraction of external research funds (UK Research Councils) and has held several editorial roles and roles on research councils. She is a widely published author and her latest forthcoming book (with Horn and Lecomte) is titled Managing Multilingual Workplaces: Empirical, Methodological and Pedagogic Perspectives. Her own research focuses on the investigation of multilingual work communities, international knowledge transfer and leadership as a discursive activity.
