Adalmiro Pereira is adjunct professor at the Porto Accounting and Business School (IPP) in the field of Accounting. He teaches Financial Management in the Master of Accounting and Finances, in the branch of public management, also at ISCAP-IPP. PhD from the Portucalense University in Management. Advisor and examiner of Master thesis. Economist and Certified Accountant, recognized by the corresponding professional orders. Author and co-author of books and articles in the fields of accounting and finances. Member of CEOS.PP.
Albertina Paula Monteiro is professor of accounting and management at the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP – IPP) and at the School of Higher Education in Management (ISAG). Her main areas of research are accounting, service quality, entrepreneurship, strategic management and internationalization. She has published in the international conferences and in the Euromed Journal of Business, Baltic Journal of Management, Journal for International Business and Entrepreneurship Development, European Journal of Applied Business Management, Iberoamerican Journal of Strategic Management.
Alcina Portugal Dias holds a PhD in Entrepreneurial Sciences from the University of the Basque Country, a Master in Accounting and Management from the University of Minho and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. She is an Adjunct Professor at ISCAP, Director and Professor of the Master Degree in Audit. She has several articles published either in journals or in the international conferences. She edited books in Germany, USA and Portugal. She belongs to the Editorial Review Board of: Financial Internet Quaterly “e-Finanse” Poland, Emerald - International Journal for Quality and Reliability Management, Journal: TÉKHNE - Review of Applied Management Studies. Potential research fields include themes related to quality management systems, risk management and auditing provided that all these issues are related to the companies’ financial and economic performance.
Amélia Ferreira da Silva is Assistant Professor at Porto Accounting and Business School, Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She teaches Cost Accounting, Management Accounting and Strategic Management Accounting. Since 2011, she holds a PhD in Accounting from University of Vigo, Spain. Her Research interests are accounting and management control in healthcare, accountability in public organizations, and business failure prediction. She has participated in international conferences and national and international projects. She has also scientific publications and collaborations as peer reviewer in international journals.
She has several articles published in indexed international scientific journals (ISI and SCOPUS), being positioned in the ranking of the Economic Policies Research Center, a research unit in Economics and Management of the University of Minho. Currently, she participates in the project “TheoFrameAccountability”, funded by Compete 2020, and also in the project "History of Accounting in Portugal" funded by the Certified Accounting Association. She participated in the FinLico project "Financial Literacy Competences", funded by the European Union. She integrates the Editorial Council of the Journal "Contabilidade & Gestão" and the scientific council of the Journal "E3 - Revista de Economia, Empresas e Empreendedores na CPLP". Ana Clara Borrego
Ana Clara Borrego is Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre. Her teaching areas are Portuguese taxation, international taxation and tax management. She has a PhD in Accounting from the University of Minho since 2015. Her research interests are tax complexity, tax noncompliance, environmental taxation and taxation history. She participated in international conferences as a speaker. She also has scientific publications and collaborations as a peer reviewer and as a member of the editorial board in national and international scientific journals.
Ana Cláudia Rodrigues
She holds a title of specialist in the field of Human Resources, a Master in HR Management (UM) and a PhD in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior (ISCTE-IUL). She is Professor in the area of Management and Development of the HR, since 1998. She has integrated several research projects and she is author of educational resources, books, chapters of books, papers and scientific communications in Performance Management, Skills Management, HR Management in technological companies and HR Management Practices. She was responsible for the HR Management of private and public organizations and consultant in private and public entities, business associations, training centers and companies from several sectors.
Ana Isabel Couto
Bachelor in Sociology from FLUP and a PhD in the same are from ISCTE. She teaches in the Bachelor of HR at ISCAP – P.PORTO. Researcher at IS-UP and at CEOS.PP. Between 2008 and 2014, she collaborated also with CIES-IUL. She as developed work in the area of labor sociology, organizations sociology and gender equality. The main areas of research interest are labor market, SME and entrepreneurship, work-life balance, research methodologies and techniques. She has participated in several national and international conferences and she is author of several publications in these fields. Member of the technical evaluation team of the 8th and 9th edition of the Prize “Igualdade é Qualidade”, by CITE, and she collaborated as a reference consultant, belonging in 2013/2014 to the national team responsible for the development of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Portugal and Angola 2013.
Ana Lima is a Marketing Professor at Porto Polytechnic Institute in ISCAP – Porto Accounting and Business School, since 2007. She has a PhD in Marketing Management and she is a research in CEOS - Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto, with a research work in retailing, digital marketing, branding, luxury and store equity. She has participated in international conferences and Eramus programs. She is also diretor of the Degree in Business Communication, a Business post-graduation course and responsible for professional technical course to improve employability among students.
Ana Luísa Martinho
Expert in Human Resources by the Polytechnic of Porto, Master and Bachelor degree in Sociology from FLUP. Currently, she develops activities in HRMD in A3S and she teaches in the area of HRMD at ISCAP and at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is a founding member of the Association A3S. She is part of the HR Group from CEOS.PP and she also belongs to research teams, namely at projects concerning the European overview on emerging professional profiles in the employability companies, and neutral Recruitment and selection regarding gender. External evaluator of projects, national and European, in the areas of employability and organizational development for the Social Economy (Q3; FAS; SIQ; Qual_IS; PRIO). Carlos Barros is Assistant Professor at ISCAP - IPP, in the area of Management, and he teaches Management, Strategic Management and Financial Management. Celsa Machado holds a PhD in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and is Associate Professor at Polytechnic of Porto (ISCAP-P.PORTO), teaching courses in economics. Her main areas of interest are macroeconomic theory and fiscal and monetary policies. She has participated in several international conferences, she has articles published in scientific journals and collaborates as a peer reviewer in international scientific journals. She is member of the scientific board of the Master in Entrepreneurship and Internationalization (ISCAP-P.PORTO).
Cláudia Pereira holds a Ph.D. in Accounting and Management Control, 2011, from the School of Economy and Management, University of Porto (FEP); a Master in Corporate Finance, from FEP and a Bachelor in Economy, from FEP. Professor of Accounting at ISCAP since 2003 and visiting Professor at the School of Economy and Management, University of Porto, 2009-2010. She has several papers published in international scientific reviews, namely indexed on ISI WEB of Knowledge and Scopus and international conferences, specifically BAFA and EAA. Her research interests are Financial Accounting, International Accounting, Earnings Management, and Earnings Quality.
Cristina Teles de Oliveira holds a Masters in Statistics and Operational Research from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Mathematics applied to Economics and Management from the Superior Institute of Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon. She is a senior lecture at ISCAP-IPP in Mathematics, where she teaches curricular units of Statistics. She is coauthor of Statistics books, focusing her interest in inclusive education of statistics, namely, students with special educational needs.

Diana Aguiar Vieira PhD is Pro-President of IPP (Polytechnic Institute of Porto) and Vice-Dean of ISCAP (Porto Accounting and Business School). She teaches in the area of social and behavioral sciences and her research interests include coaching, employability, self-efficacy, lifelong learning, social skills, academic achievement, work satisfaction. She has published numerous papers in national and international journals and she has been a member of the scientific committee of several conferences. She has been involved in research projects and partnerships with Brazilian universities (UNICAMP, UFBA, UFRJ) and her doctoral thesis dedicated to university-to-work transition won the national prize “Prémio Agostinho Roseta” from the Portuguese Ministry of Work and Social Solidarity.
She holds a PhD in Business Sciences – Organization and Human Resources from the Faculty of Economics of Porto University and she is Professor at Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP). Inês Veiga Pereira is Senior lecturer at ISCAP-IPP. Isabel Cristina Lopes
Professor at Porto Accounting and Business School, since 2000. She holds a PhD in Systems and Industrial Engineering from University of Minho (2011). José de Freitas Santos received his PhD in 1997 from the Minho University (Portugal) and is currently full Professor of International Business at the Polytechnic of Porto (IPP) - Institute of Accounting and Administration (ISCAP), and researcher at CEOS.PP- Centre for Organizational and Social Studies of IPP. He is Director of the Department of Management at the same Institute. His research interests include entrepreneurship, internationalization, regional development and digital marketing. José Pedro Teixeira Fernandes
He holds a bachelor degree in Law and a PhD in Political Science and International Relations. José Duarte da Rocha Santos received his PhD in Management from the Vigo University, Spain. He holds also a Master in Marketing and a Bachelor degree in Business Sciences. He obtained the title of Specialist in Marketing and Advertising in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law No. 206/August 31, 2009. Between 1987 and 2002, he has played various roles in sales, marketing and management of companies in the information technologies sector. Since 2003 he performs functions of management and marketing consultant. Since 1999, he is professor in Portugal in the field of management and marketing. Its main areas of interest are the relational marketing, customer relationship management, and social media marketing.

Luciano Loiola da Silva
Luciano Loiola da Silva is a Phd student in Law, Justice and Citizenship in the 21st Century and has a Master's degree in Administrative Law from the University of Coimbra. He is Pro-Rector of Academic Management and professor of the Brasilia’s Higher Institute of Police Science - Brazil. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Police and Public Security Studies and of the editorial board of the Ciência e Polícia Magazine. He acts as evaluator on the National System of Evaluation for Higher Education of Brazil’s Ministry of Education (BASis). His research interests are administrative law, police sciences, criminology, public security and conflict mediation.
Luís Gomes is Adjunct Professor at ISCAP-IPP in the area of finance. He is PhD in Management from University Portucalense, Porto. Associate Professor at ISCAP in the Social Sciences area, in the Human Resources group. Degree in Psychology, Master in Health Psychology and PhD in Health Psychology at the University of Minho. He holds an Executive Master in Leadership and Organizational Coaching from EADA, Business School, and a specialization in NeuroTrainingLab from WIO and another in the Transformational Leadership model of the Institute for Transformational Leadership. PhD in Law, Professor of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria-GRAN CANARIA. He is a full-time Senior Lecturer at ISCAP, since 1990, being the Coordinator of the Scientific Area of Law at the school, as well as a member of the Scientific Board. He practices Private/Civil, Business, Corporate and Tax Law as a freelance lawyer since 1992. He lectured at the Portuguese Catholic University, at EGP – Porto Business School, at the Portuguese Bar Association and at the Professional Order of the Statutory Auditors. Paulo Vieira is an Associate Professor at Polytechnic of Porto (ISCAP-P.PORTO), lecturing macroeconomics and microeconomics. He has a PhD in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and his research areas include macroeconomic theory and fiscal and monetary policies. Paulo Vieira has participated in international conferences and the result of his research has been published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
PhD in Business Applied Economics by the University of Santiago de Compostela. He was awarded by the European Foundation Management Development and Emerald with the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award for Human Resources Management. Currently he teaches at UPT and at ISCAP-IPP, having collaborated with other Higher Education Institutions. He is Researcher at REMIT and at CEOS.PP. He was researcher at Society for Human Resource Management Foundation and he is member of the da British Academy of Management and EURAM. He publishes regularly in international journals, such as Management Learning Journal, Journal of Workplace Learning, Tourism & Management Studies, and he participates in conferences as EURAM, UFHRD, AHRD and the Academy of Marketing. He collaborates as a reviewer in several international journals: International Journal of Human Resources Management, International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, and International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing.
Raquel Pereira – PhD in Economics (Santiago de Compostela University, Spain). She started her professional activity at the former ICEP (now AICEP - Portuguese Agency for Investment and External Commerce). Senior Lecturer at ISCAP – IPP where she lectures units in the field of Economics. She is also the Director of the Bachelor degree in International Commerce. Member of the editorial board of the “Economics: Theory and Practice Journal” of the Kuban State University and member of the Editorial Board of the conference proceedings “Contemporary Issues in Economy & Technology” (CIET). Her research interests include Regional Economic Development, Internationalization and Entrepreneurship.

Corporate Manager of the Human Resources at the Group DESFO. Professor in the Bachelor of Human Resources and in the Master of Management and Development of HR, since 2011. He is member of CEOS.PP. He started his career at Texas Instruments-Samsung, as Training Officer, he spent 12 year at Siemens/Infineon/Qimonda, and after as Director of the HR at the Group Casais and Iberian Director of the HR at WIPRO Portugal, as well as Senior Consultant in Strategic Management of HR, Trainer and Coach, with international projects. Certified in the program “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” and in Business Coaching. Speaker in seminars in higher-education institutions.
Sandrina Teixeira is Professor at ISCAP, P.Porto, in the field of Marketing, Digital Marketing and Digital Communication. She holds a PhD in Communication, Publicity and Public Relations from University of Vigo. She is Director of the Master in Digital Marketing and the Bachelor in Business Communication. Researcher at CEOS.PP and CEPESE (Research Centre for the Study of Population, Economics and Society Centre). She develops several research activities in the areas of luxury brands, Marketing and Digital Communication. She is member of the research team of the project 02/SAICT/2016. Sérgio Göttling Oliveira Monteiro is a Professor at the Superior Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP). He teaches Introduction to Management and Strategic Management and is Director of the Master in Logistics (APNOR). He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He is a member of CEOS.PP. His research interests include management, resource-based view and logistics and supply chain management. He has published scientific papers in the area of management and has collaborations as peer reviewer in international scientific journals.
Susana Adelina Moreira Carvalho Bastos was born in 1971 in Porto, Portugal. She holds a PhD in Education and Didactics and a Master in Accounting and Administration. She is a Senior Lecturer since 1998 at IPP-ISCAP – Polytechnic Institute of Porto. By 2003, she embraced the Project Management Simulation, where innovative approaches on the teaching-learning process are used.
She holds a PhD in Management from Oporto Global University. She worked in the analysis and control of risk in the financial sector. Since 2009, she is Professor at ISCAP in the area of Management and teaches Social Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship Seminars, Management Principles, Organizational Management, Management and Organization of Companies, Operations Management and HR Management. She is researcher at CEOS.PP - Centre for Organisational and Social Studies of P.Porto and she develops her research in the area of Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship. She has participated in conferences and seminars regarding this theme and she has published several papers in national and international journals.
She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the School of Psychology of University of Minho and she is Professor at School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She has collaborated with several higher-education institutions, in the first, second and third cycles in the areas of Psychology, Human Resources and Health. She is trainer in the scope of Research Methodologies (quantitative and qualitative), communication, leadership, Human Resources. She is member of the NID-RH and she has developed researches in the scope of tourism, HR management practices, employability, gender equality, harassment and violence, leadership, communication, group phenomena, research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative).
Tiago Pimenta Fernandes holds a PhD in Labor Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He holds an undergraduate degree and a master degree from the Porto Law School of the Catholic University, where he also completed a post-graduate course in Labor Law and Labor Procedure Law. He is an Assistant Professor at the Portucalense University, Infante D. Henrique, and a Guest Assistant at the Porto Accounting and Business School. He is a lawyer, essentially in the areas of Labor Law, Commercial Law and Litigation.
Responsible for the area of HR at CEOS.PP and member of the scientific board of the Master in Management and Development of HR at ISCAP. Professor in this area since 1997, she was coordinator of the Bachelor in HR and the Service of Career Development at ESEIG. She was a member of several management entities (General Board of P.PORTO, Scientific Board of ESEIG and ESTG and Pedagogic Council of ESEIG). She holds a Master in HR Management (Sheffield/ UM) and a PhD in Education Science (UP). Her research is focused on training, professionalization and epistemology of HR. Her research interests are the project methodology (PMP®PMI) and the qualification of HR, being external evaluator of RVCC by ANQEP.
