On 23 April, Ana Margarida Silva, researcher at the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI, ISCAP-P.PORTO) and an FCT PhD student in ‘Cultural Studies: Memory, Identity and Territory’, will present the session ‘The richness and cultural value of Portugal’s Serra da Estrela’ at the Faculty of Humanities on the Lugo Campus of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC).
The session led by Ana Margarida Silva is part of the Xornadas de Nova Investigación (New Research Days) promoted by the Institute for Studies and Development of Galicia (IDEGA), which will take place between March and May 2025. The event represents an excellent opportunity to internationally publicise the latest research into fundamental issues for the preservation and enhancement of Portugal’s cultural heritage.
The Xornadas de Nova Investigación aim to boost territorial and cultural development by promoting a space for exchange and dialogue between researchers, academics and society. This event serves as a fundamental meeting point for the promotion of innovative ideas, the valorisation of territories, the preservation of cultural heritage and the strengthening of regional identity.
