The young researcher from the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) and alumni from ISCAP-P.PORTO, Ivo Rafael Silva, has just published two new books dedicated to the cultural history of the municipality of Paredes, highlighting the importance of northern Portugal in the national historical and cultural panorama.
The books are:
- Terras de Paredes na Idade Média – As Inquirições de 1258 → A journey into the medieval past, analyzing documents that reveal the life, social organization, and landscapes of Paredes in the 13th century.
- Crónicas Paredenses – Volume 2 → A continuation of research on local history, emphasizing traditions, memories, and narratives that shaped the identity of the region.
