Patrícia Pinheiro, a final-year student of the Master’s in Intercultural Studies for Business at ISCAP-P.PORTO, participates in ISCAP’s 3rd Sustainability Week with the presentation:
🎙️ “Greenwashing, Circular Economy and Sustainability: Challenges in the Textile Industry”
From theory to practice, this presentation explores how greenwashing has consolidated over time as one of the major obstacles to the transition towards a truly sustainable and circular economy. With a special focus on the textile industry—where environmental claims do not always correspond to substantive change—the audience will be invited to reflect on whether the current European scenario, marked by cultural, legal, and regulatory dimensions, truly has the potential to transform an essentially linear industry into a measurable, transparent, and promising circular one.
The 3rd Sustainability Week at ISCAP is an initiative that reinforces the institution’s commitment to environmental, social, and economic responsibility, promoting reflection, action, and the active engagement of the entire academic community around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
