In order to further motivate ISCAP-P.PORTO students to engage in scientific research and to strengthen their connection to the Institution, the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP-P.PORTO established the CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD for the best Dissertation, Project Report, or Internship Report of the Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies for Business at ISCAP-P.PORTO.
The CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD, first launched in 2010, consists of a mention and a diploma, accompanied by a set of books worth approximately 200 (two hundred) euros, as well as an invitation to present the awarded work at a conference promoted by CEI.
Since 2017, the CEI AWARD has been designated the CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD, in tribute to the professor and researcher who was a founding member of CEI from its very beginning.
Regulations
- Only Dissertations, Project Reports, or Internship Reports from the Master’s in Intercultural Studies for Business at ISCAP-P.PORTO that have already been defended and approved with a final grade between 15 and 20 (inclusive) will be admitted to the competition.
- Applications must include a digital copy of the work submitted, proof of the grade obtained, and a motivation letter containing the full identification of the candidate, updated contact information, and a brief biographical note.
- Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2025, exclusively by email to CEI (cei@iscap.ipp.pt), with the subject line “CEI – Dalila Lopes Award 2025.”
- The 10th edition of the CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD accepts Dissertations, Project Reports, or Internship Reports from the Master’s in Intercultural Studies for Business at ISCAP-P.PORTO that meet the above conditions and that have been approved between August 15, 2022 (closing date for applications to the previous edition of the CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD) and December 31, 2025 (closing date for applications to the current edition).
- The Jury of the CEI – DALILA LOPES AWARD will be composed of a president and three members: President: Dr. Clara Sarmento, CEI Coordinator; Member: Dr. Carina Cerqueira, CEI Researcher; Member: Dr. Isabelle Tulekian, CEI Researcher; Member: Dr. Marco Furtado, CEI Researcher.
- The results will be announced by February 15, 2026.
- The award ceremony will take place at a date and location to be announced later.
- The Jury may decide not to award the Prize or to award it ex-aequo.
- The Jury’s decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
