The Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP–P.PORTO once again marked its international presence—this time through the participation of integrated researcher Marco Furtado—at the 10th edition of the International Language Week, held from 1 to 5 December at the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences, in Germany.

Participating in the panel “Digital Technologies and Global Connectivity” and aligned with the conference theme “The Role of Global Citizenship for Foreign Language and Intercultural Education”, Marco Furtado delivered the presentation “Virtuell Fliegen, (Inter-)kulturell erkunden.”
His talk highlighted the exploration of cultural heritage within Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, using immersive and interactive artificial intelligence tools—a fusion of technology, education, and culture that opens new pathways for teaching and research in languages and intercultural studies.
This participation reinforces the role of CEI and ISCAP at the forefront of digital and global education.
