Tec’N’Cool | More entries. More connections. A broader critical lens.

Tec’N’Cool — a project that connects academic knowledge with contemporary culture through an open and stimulating dialogue — has just been significantly updated. Developed within a business school context, the platform curates a freely accessible database of films, TV series and books that explore key domains such as economics, environmental sustainability and law.

This latest update adds 118 new entries — including 38 films, 13 series and 62 books — further expanding its interdisciplinary scope.

The impact is particularly visible in Environment, where the archive undergoes a substantial transformation: films increase from 32 to 56, series from 17 to 22, and books from 15 to 58, reinforcing the centrality of environmental concerns in contemporary cultural production.

In Law, the growth is consistent across formats, with series more than doubling and books rising to 117, broadening the analytical depth of legal narratives.

In Economy, the platform consolidates its already strong foundation, with new additions in series and books, sustaining a rich basis for exploring economic imaginaries.

Grounded in the idea that cultural narratives offer unique insights into social and economic complexity — complementing traditional academic approaches — Tec’N’Cool continues to position itself as a dynamic pedagogical and research resource. Its curated and continuously updated content supports student learning, fosters teaching innovation, and opens new avenues for academic inquiry.

More than an update in numbers, this is an expansion in perspective.
