The European Partnership for Resilient Cultural Heritage (RCH) is a collaborative initiative bringing together 90+ organisations from 30 countries, with the support of the European Commission, to strengthen the resilience of cultural heritage in the face of climate change and other societal challenges and to enhance its powerful role to contribute to climate action and other societal challenges. RCH connects cultural heritage, climate science, research, innovation and policy to develop the knowledge, skills and solutions needed to safeguard our diverse cultural heritage while unlocking its potential. The Partnership brings together universities, research organisations, cultural heritage institutions, public authorities, SMEs and civil society, to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and drive lasting impact. Through joint transnational calls for research projects, supported by Living Labs, training programmes, seasonal schools and knowledge exchanges, RCH supports evidence-based policies, empowers professionals and communities, and promotes innovative approaches to protecting and transforming cultural heritage. By bridging research and practice, local action and international cooperation, the Partnership helps ensure that cultural heritage not only withstands the challenges of a changing world, but also contributes to a more sustainable, resilient and just future. Safeguarding the past. Anticipating the future. Building resilience together.
