Ana Margarida Silva, member of MARGISTAR COST Action

Ana Margarida Silva was admitted as a member of COST action CA21125 – A European forum for revitalisation of marginalised mountain areas (MARGISTAR), coordinated by Professor Juha HIEDANPÄÄ, from the Natural Resources Institute Finland and Dr. Andrej Ficko, from the University of Ljubljana. The researcher from the Centre for Intercultural Studies is now part of Working Group 1: Collaboration and Networking, Working Group 2: Knowledge synthesis and co-creation with stakeholders and Working Group 3: Capacity building and outreach.

MARGISTAR is a COST Action that reflects collaboratively on interrelationships in mountain areas, identifying a range of natural, environmental, social, economic and political challenges. It stands out by using a multi/inter and transdisciplinary approach, thus supporting the European Union’s efforts towards inclusive, competitive and sustainable economies and societies.
