Carina Cerqueira, PhD in Translation and Paratranslation from the University of Vigo and researcher at ISCAP-P.Porto’s Center for Intercultural Studies (CEI), has officially joined the COST Actions CA23128 – Connecting Landscape Architecture Archives to enhance European landscape practice, research and education (ConnectLAA) and CA23114 – Regaining linkage? Digital technologies improving civic engagement, political organizations and democracy (RELINK²).
ConnectLAA is a European action that runs from October 2024 to October 2028 and aims to connect and digitize landscape architecture archives across Europe, promoting innovative archaeological practices in research, teaching and heritage preservation. Aligned with an interdisciplinary approach involving landscape architecture, cultural studies, art history, archives and digital technologies, ConnectLAA is committed to the use of advanced digital platforms and a common thesaurus to improve the management, access and reuse of archival data, as well as to foster an inclusive and sustainable knowledge ecology, with an impact on the practice and teaching of landscape architecture.
