Carla Avelino has a PhD in Portuguese Literature from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, a master’s degree in Iberian Cultures (FLUP) and a degree in Modern Languages ​​and Literatures-Portuguese/French (FLUP). She has taught at ISCAP, since 1999, courses in Consulting and Translation and Business Communication, curricular units related to Technical Text, Communication Theories and Portuguese Language and Culture for Foreigners. Bachelor’s and master’s internship advisor; member of special competition juries; researcher integrated at CEI (Center for Intercultural Studies, ISCAP); CLLC (Center for Languages, Literature and Culture, University of Aveiro) and collaborator at IELT (Institute for Literature and Tradition Studies, Nova FCSH). Author of several publications in her area of ​​interest, which concerns women’s conventual writing.
