She has a PhD in Translation and Paratranslation (German – Portuguese Legal Translation). She also has an MA in German Studies and a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, English and German Studies Variant, German Translation field. She is currently an Associate Professor at ISCAP – Porto Accounting and Business School. Her research fields are translation studies, particularly legal translation, intercultural studies, and German language and culture.
