She has a PhD in Romance Literature and Culture – Portuguese Literature specialization from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto, having presented the thesis titled: Luís Miguel Nava, Leitor de Eugénio de Andrade: Duas Poéticas em Diálogo, mostrando as vozes surdas que ecoam entre distintas formas de escrita/leitura. She is a Highschool teacher of Portuguese and French. At the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP), she has taught Communication Theory and Textual Practices I and II and Argumentation Theory and Expression techniques I and II. She also participates as an external collaborator in the “Intermedialidades” research team, at the Margarida Losa Compared Literature Institute, in the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto. With a special interest in 20th and 21st Century Portuguese poetry and its relations with other forms of art, particularly cinema and painting, she has worked with the book Migrações do Fogo, by Manuel Gusmão, articulating the poetic word with a whole implicit/explicit ecfrastic aspect. She has developed research work in the fields of creative writing and digital cultures.
