StreetArtCEI Expands Dragon Route & Joins the European Time Machine Project

The StreetArtCEI project has just updated its iconic Dragon Route, with 57 new images carefully mapped. StreetArtCEI now features a total of 8,583 images, spread across 19 geographical routes and an extensive spatio-temporal archive.

Explore the new images and discover the evolution of urban art along the Dragon Route at: www.streetartcei.com

At the same time, StreetArtCEI is now officially part of the European Time Machine project: https://www.timemachine.eu/ltm-projects/streetartcei/

The Time Machine (https://www.timemachine.eu/) aims to develop the “Big Data of the Past”, creating a digital information system that maps the social, cultural, and geographical evolution of Europe throughout history. This large-scale digitization and computing infrastructure allows Europe to transform its long history, as well as its multilingualism and multiculturalism, into a living social and economic resource.

The project brings together 700+ organizations from over 50 countries worldwide. Portugal has only 14 member institutions, with the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP-P.PORTO as the only representative from Greater Porto, alongside the Portuguese Catholic University.

StreetArtCEI thus continues to establish itself as an international reference platform for research, preservation, and appreciation of urban art, stimulating connections between aesthetic experience, collective memory, and critical analysis.
