The StreetartCEI virtual museum and route platform has just been updated, with a particular focus on four routes in Porto: Boavista, Dragão, Marquês and S. Bento. It also incorporates six new international archives: Norway, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Latvia, London and Ireland (with Cork documented by international student Marina Segarra). This update adds 418 new images, expanding the project’s geographical and critical scope.
The result? An archive of 9,001 images, organised into 19 geographical routes and 31 spatio-temporal collections — a living cartography of contemporary urban art.
More than numerical growth, this update reflects an ongoing commitment: to document, preserve and make legible the complexity of urban art, across territory, time and artistic practice.
For researchers, students and critically engaged audiences, StreetartCEI continues to establish itself as an expanding resource — rigorous, accessible and increasingly representative.
