CEI at the Connected World Conference on Cultural Diversity in the Labor Market

On May 19, the Intercultural Studies Center (CEI) of ISCAP-P.PORTO was represented by Clara Sarmento at the roundtable discussion of the Connected World Conference, dedicated to the topic “The challenges and opportunities of integrating people from different cultures into the labor market.”

The debate also featured the participation of Ludmila Fagir and was moderated by Helena Salazar, providing an enriching reflection on cultural diversity, inclusion, and the challenges of an increasingly global and interconnected labor market.

CEI congratulates the first-year students of the Human Resources degree program at ISCAP-P.PORTO (Class of 2026) for organizing an initiative that is timely, relevant, and aligned with the contemporary challenges faced by organizations and new generations of professionals.

Today, cultural diversity is recognized not only as an unavoidable reality, but also as a competitive, human, and strategic advantage for institutions and companies seeking to operate in international and multicultural contexts.
