Karima Bouziane is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities, Chouaib Doukkali University (UCD), El Jadida, Morocco. She coordinates the MA Program in Cross-Cultural Communication and Visual Media and leads the Cross-Cultural and Media Studies Research Group at the ALCS Laboratory, UCD. She is a research collaborator at the Center for Intercultural Studies (CEI), ISCAP–Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal, and a Research Associate at CEOS.PP, ISCAP, Portugal, within the Digital Humanities Research Group. Her research is interdisciplinary, focusing on multilingual and intercultural communication, translation, digital cultures and media, arts, and cultural heritage. Her current research interests include the impact of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models on language, translation, education, and communication. She is also Editor-in-Chief of the International Arab Journal of English for Specific Purposes and The International Journal of Cross-cultural Communication and Media Studies. She co-coordinates the Humanities and Social Sciences International Conference Series. She has managed several Erasmus+ KA171 mobility projects in the Humanities and Social Sciences at Chouaib Doukkali University.
