Inês Pires, a researcher at the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP–P.PORTO, has joined Working Groups 1 and 3, “Adaptation Strategies” and “Reference Frameworks”, of COST Action CA23158 – Artistic Intelligence – Responsiveness, Accessibility, Responsibility, Equity (ARTinRARE), further strengthening CEI’s participation in European research networks dedicated to innovation, culture, and the arts.
Running from September 2024 to September 2028, ARTinRARE brings together researchers, artistic institutions, and organisations from across Europe with the aim of fostering the integration of artistic and practice-based research with other fields of knowledge. The Action seeks to develop new models for knowledge production, organisation, and transfer by exploring the potential of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, to make artistic research more accessible, collaborative, and socially relevant.
