Selected under the Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (ERASMUS-EDU-2026-EMJM-DESIGN) call, ATLAS-S is a 15-month project coordinated by the University of Seville, with partner institutions from Austria, Slovakia, and Portugal. The project (No. 101325774) received an evaluation score of 87/100.
The ATLAS-S Master’s programme aims to explore the value of combining artistic creation, scientific knowledge, and digital technologies in transdisciplinary contexts across art, science, technology, education, and society.
Its innovative approach brings together: SciArt research and creative practice; STEAM education responding to contemporary educational and societal needs; participatory and citizen-oriented methodologies; learning-service approaches connecting higher education with communities, Citizen Science, NGOs and wider societal contexts.
The project’s objective is to design and implement a joint, transnational Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme through shared curriculum development, student mobility, international collaboration and common academic standards. The programme is intended to prepare graduates to work across disciplinary, institutional, and societal boundaries, while providing a foundation for research-oriented careers and progression to doctoral studies.
