StreetArtCEI: new website, 2800 new images and new resources

The StreetArtCEI website has been fully renewed – and the project is more alive and up to date than ever.

The new website brings together:

  • 2,800 new images resulting from our 2026 fieldwork, bringing the collection to 9,890 images;
  • a new Cork route, Republic of Ireland, generously contributed by Marina Segarra, MA student in Modern and Contemporary Art History at University College Cork;
  • new open-access research articles exploring different dimensions of street art and urban visual culture;
  • an updated and more accessible way of exploring our virtual museum, routes, artists and Points of Interest.

In 2027, StreetArtCEI will celebrate 10 years of research, documentation and engagement with urban visual culture.

And it is still growing.

Much of what is new has been made possible by the commitment, curiosity and fieldwork of the young researchers and interns at CEI, whose contributions continue to expand the project across places, perspectives and generations.

Ten years on, StreetArtCEI is not looking back – it is still out in the streets.
