Gabriel Lourenço, a researcher in training at the Center for Intercultural Studies (CEI) and a student on the Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies for Business at ISCAP-P.PORTO, has joined COST Action CA23144 – “Europe’s Representations of India: Texts, Images and Encounters” (ESIND), 2024-2028, strengthening CEI’s presence in this European research network.
With his research and curricular internship at the Portuguese Embassy in Goa, Gabriel joins a transnational community of researchers in debates and projects around cultural representations, intercultural cohesion and the construction of inclusive knowledge.
COST Action ESIND is a multidisciplinary network that aims to map and analyze the development of European representations of India and their impact on past and present encounters between Europeans and Indians.
