Inês Pires Joins the COST Action CIRCUL’ARTs

Inês Pires, a researcher at the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP–P.PORTO and a final-year student in the Master’s in Intercultural Studies for Business, has recently joined COST Action CA23117 – “Connecting Critical Pedagogies, Inclusive Art Forms and Alternative Barometers for Urban Sustainability” (CIRCUL’ARTs). She will participate in Working Groups 2, 3, and 4, namely: “Urban Rituals, Performances, Street Theatre, Music”, “Urban Installations and Gathering Points”, and “Innovation through Creative and Circular Technologies.”

CIRCUL’ARTs is a scientific network that explores the intersection of critical pedagogies, inclusive artistic practices, and alternative indicators of urban sustainability. Running from October 2024 to October 2028, this COST Action aims to promote collaborative and innovative approaches to addressing contemporary urban challenges by integrating social, cultural, and environmental perspectives.

Since 2018, CEI researchers have participated in 16 COST Actions, highlighting the Center’s growing involvement in European networks of excellence and its commitment to collaborative and interdisciplinary research.
