The Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) at ISCAP–P.PORTO is delighted to celebrate the successful opening of the international exhibition Art & Science within Ecologies of Relations, inaugurated on 3 June at the P.PORTO Cultural Centre. The exhibition marks the culmination of the European COST Action SHiFT – Social Sciences and Humanities for Transformation and Climate Resilience (CA21162), bringing together artists, researchers, and interdisciplinary practitioners from different countries and fields of expertise.
As the organising institution, the Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering international research networks and innovative forms of knowledge production that bridge academia, culture, and society.
Through installation, sculpture, photography, painting, and sound-based works, visitors are invited to engage with urgent contemporary questions surrounding transformation, regeneration, climate resilience, and new forms of embodied and experiential knowledge.
The strong attendance at the opening event highlighted the growing relevance of art–science approaches in addressing contemporary global challenges and confirmed the importance of creating spaces where research can be experienced, discussed, and shared beyond traditional academic boundaries.
CEI extends its gratitude to all participating artists, researchers, collaborators, and visitors whose presence contributed to the success of this remarkable event. The exhibition remains open throughout June at the P.PORTO Cultural Centre.
