“Ivo Petrů (*1977) is a Lawyer-Linguist based at the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (FF JU). He did his Ph.D. on European multilingual law. He teaches in particular French legal and commercial language. In his research he focuses on French legal language and its translation into Czech. In 2011 he published the monograph Metody jazykového výkladu evropského práva [The methods of Linguistic Interpretation of the European law].Ivo Petrů managed different development projects, in particular a project co-funded by the European Social Fund Inovace výuky románských jazyků na FF JU 2010-2013 [Innovation of teaching of Romance languages at FF JU 2010-2013]. He is the chairman of the association Alliance française de Bohême du Sud [French Alliance of Southern Bohemia]. He is also an active member of Gallica, association of university French teachers in Czech Republic.”

“Kateřina Drsková (*1974) is a teacher-researcher at the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of South Bohemia (Faculty of Philosophy) in České Budějovice (FF JU). She did her Ph.D. on stylistic aspects of literary translation. She teaches in particular French literature and translation. In her research she focuses on modern and contemporary French literature and on history of literary translation (specifically translation of French literature into Czech in the 20th and 21st century). In 2010 she published the monograph České překlady francouzské literatury (1960-1969) [Czech translations of French literature (1960-1969)].Kateřina Drsková is the executive editor of the journal Écho des études romanes (journal of romance linguistics and literatures, listed on ERIH since 2011). She is an active member of Gallica, association of university French teachers in Czech Republic."
