COMAP, also know as Committee for International Students of ISCAP, is dedicated to creating an International Community in ISCAP. It all began in 2011 with the creation of the Buddy Network (now known as Buddy Program) where the main purpose was to connect International and Portuguese students. The goal of the buddy program is to give International Students someone to count on when they arrive. You might feel lost and have a lot of questions and that’s why your “Buddy” will always be there to help you.
Throughout the semester, we organize several events specially for our International Community such as parties, trips, visits and sports events. Our main event of the year is the Orientation Week. It’s a week full of events including sports, cultural visits, walking tour, dinner, party and much more!
By offering several types of experiences, by supporting the students in everything they need and by promoting the portuguese culture and academic traditions, we hope to enhance everyone’s experience in Porto. Moreover, we expect to create lifelong friendships!
