Great news for all ISCAP Internacional students and everyone who calls Porto home: our city has just been named Europe’s Best Tourist Destination 2025 at the prestigious World Travel Awards, also known as the “Oscars of Tourism”. The award ceremony took place at the Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy.
This is the second consecutive year that Porto has taken the top spot, standing out ahead of major European cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Berlin. Even more impressive, it’s the fifth year in a row that a Portuguese city has claimed this title, proof that Portugal truly knows how to charm the world.
But the celebration doesn’t stop there. Portugal also scored big across several categories, such as Europe’s Best Adventure Destination - Paiva Walkways (Arouca), and Best City Break Destination – Lisbon.
Finally, Portugal itself took home one of the evening’s biggest honors: Europe’s Leading Destination, for the seventh time in the past nine years!
