FCEP, formerly know as Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP), held its welcome ceremony yesterday, 14 September 2026, for the Erasmus+ students who will be studying at the institution during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. A total of 208 students from 28 countries have arrived in Porto for an international academic and cultural mobility experience.
The ceremony took place in the Grand Auditorium and was attended by the Dean of the FCEP, Professor Manuel Moreira da Silva, a representative of the Porto Tourism Police, members of the FCEP International Relations Office, representatives of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Porto, and members of the Erasmus Student Buddy Programme (COMAP).
Following the ceremony, the welcome programme continued with an international picnic, providing an opportunity for students, members of the academic community and student organisations to meet, socialise and share experiences.
The event also featured performances by the Tuna de Contabilidade do Porto and the Tuna Feminina do ISCAP, helping to create a lively atmosphere and giving international students their first taste of one of Porto’s most distinctive academic and cultural traditions.
With 208 students representing 28 nationalities, FCEP further strengthens its international dimension and begins another semester marked by cultural exchange, learning, and the creation of new experiences and friendships among students from different parts of the world.
